How your life has changed since you came to the United States
Since I came to live to the USA my life has changed for the better, I could say. I arrived to this country full of prejudices and reluctant to learn a thing, I just wanted to pass my classes so that my university back at my country could evaluate my work but I found one or two things that have stuck with me ever since.
Just to put an example I always thought the American society to be much less responsible with their actions than the European one; I always saw on the news how many Americans did quite a lot of unreasobale or even silly things asking to myself what the point was. But on the first week I spent living there all I found were normal people living their lifes.
On the first month I spent most of the time going to college and meeting new people, and the few spare time I had I studied as hard as I could to catch up to them, since they had had different lessons to mine back at Spain. Once I got used to it I was more willing to have a good time with my new friends, every week we'd go to the cinema or parties or even just stare at one's home to talk about life, it was a great experience to share my life with new people and learn from them: their mistakes, how to fix them, stop wondering so much about the past and finding new attitudes in life.
In the end, what started as a mere study trip ended up being a fulfilling experience I'd never trade for anything else, I feel like I've grown as a person and I'm more capable of handling everything that life can throw at me.
