7 - Cohesion and coherence: edited version of a paragraph

Ho Chi Min, in Vietnam, is a fascinating destination for travellers to Southeast-Asia. Located on the Mekong River, it was once an important trading center for the French, as a result, the influence of French culture can still be felt: many people, especially the older generations, know French and still speak it to this day; some cafés serve French-style bread and pastries too. In adittion, many of the buildings in the city are built in French style. The city also holds a wide variety of museums which explain its -often bloody- history. For all these reasons, Ho Chi Min is a great city to visit if you ever go on a trip to the southern part of Asia.
